Project Success: Hybrid Energy System for Robinson Club Sal

We are thrilled to announce the official handover of our pioneering renewable energy project at the Robinson Club on Sal Island, Cabo Verde. The facility was officially handed over to the client on December 10, 2025.

This project represents a major step towards sustainable tourism in the region, providing the resort with a highly efficient and resilient power supply.

Technical Specifications and Integration

Our team successfully designed and integrated a complex hybrid system into the club’s existing infrastructure, featuring:

  • Solar Power: 1.3MW Photovoltaic (PV) capacity.
  • Energy Storage: 1.6MWh Battery Storage System.

Smart Energy Management and Efficiency

The core of the system is the advanced Energy Management System (EMS). This smart controller oversees and optimizes all available energy sources within the facility, with a primary focus on maximizing the utilization of the renewable PV power.

Key benefits of the new system include:

  • Maximum Self-Sufficiency: The resort can now generate 50% of its energy needs without emissions.
  • Uninterruptible Supply (UPS): The battery storage system guarantees an uninterruptible power supply, securing operations against grid failures.
  • Grid Stabilization: The batteries actively smooth out load peaks on the local grid, improving overall power quality.

This project underscores our commitment to delivering high-performance, complex energy solutions that drive both sustainability and operational reliability for our clients.
